We're parents too. Before we add a product to our store, we look at it the same way we would for our own home.
What we look for
- Age suitability. Where a supplier gives an age guide, we show it on the product page.
- Australian suppliers. Our physical products come from an established Australian supplier and ship from Australian warehouses. Products sold in Australia must meet the mandatory Australian safety standards that apply to them.
- Safety information. We include clear safety notes on product pages, such as wall-anchoring furniture, supervising water play and fitting batteries.
- Honest descriptions. We tell you what a product is, its size, how to use it and who it suits. No hype.
What we don't sell
- Toys with small loose magnets
- Button battery products for young children
- Weighted blankets or sleep products for kids
About health claims
We're not doctors or therapists, and our products aren't treatments. We describe them as practical tools for routines, play and calm-down time. If your child has specific needs, your GP, paediatrician or occupational therapist is the best person to guide you.
Recalls and concerns
We keep an eye on Australian product safety recalls. If a product you bought from us is ever affected, we'll contact you directly. If you have any concern about a product's safety, email us at hello@calmmorningsco.com.au. We take every report seriously and will get back to you as quickly as we can.
Supervise young children during play, and always follow the age guidance and safety notes on each product.
